Description
The machine industry is today facing something of a cultural
revolution, having to deal with increasing amounts of software and
embedded distributed computer systems. This creates a strong need for multidisciplinary research
and development. The talk presents a mechatronics perspective to this development
with a focus on technical and methodological problems in the development of dependable
distributed real-time control systems.
