This project aims for a comparison study about heart rate (HR) R-peak detection and their quality index analysis for the two systems i.e., PPG sensor system and the camera system developed at Mälardalen University, Sweden. Also, the number of R-peaks in BMP i.e., HR is also extracted using both the systems will be compared. A measurement protocol is considered with 15 different test (i.e., challenging) conditions. The conditions are: normal sittings, head movements i.e., up/down/left/right/forward/backword, with light on/off and with moving flash on/off. The time difference in MS (milliseconds) between R-peaks detected by both the systems are calculated and based on it a cumulative percentage of the R-peaks are calculated.
