Abstract

A flexible and dynamic approach for personalization of web pages is presented. From Artificial Intelligence, Case-Based Reasoning and User Modeling is applied. A set of decision nets for user categories are dynamically generated. After short use (a few actions), users are assigned to specific categories, enabling quick personalization. Initial tests indicate good adaptation to users preferences after a short period of use. Adaptation may lead to increased user satisfaction and productivity.
