Configuration of real-time systems are often integrated into the source code making the configuration more complex than necessary and make the compiling more complex since the developer needs to include pre-processing of the source code. The sorce code is also more difficult to read with integrated configuration commands. This work aims to remove the configuration from the source code into a configuration tool for more easily configured systems. The thesis propose a infrastucture that allows the developer use a separate tool for the configuration. We also describes a configuration tool that autogenerates ANSI-C code to be included in the source code for the real-time application.
