The workplace innovation and quality management (WIQM) research group makes use of and develops analytical tools and methods for how to handle and enable processes of change in which the employees participate, and how one develops innovative skills through better understanding of the dynamics of social systems.
The objective is to achieve an ”ambidextrous capacity” within organisations, that is the ability to have an efficient, stable production at the same time as processes of improvement and innovation are taking place. The team has a commitment in the problematising and operationalising of management strategies and change processes at workplaces.
Through their interest in complexity and organisational learning processes and in dilemmas in the design of production systems, the team contributes with their research to the area of quality development and practiced-based innovation.
The research group organizes on a regular basis research seminars. For more information about the seminars, please contact peter.e.johansson@mdh.se
