Hung Tran received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in information technology from the Vietnam National
University, Vietnam, in 2002 and 2006, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree from Blekinge Institute of
Technology, Sweden, in March 2013. In 2014, he was with the Electrical Engineering
Department, ETS, Montreal, Canada. From Oct-2015, he is a postdoctoral researcher at the Malardalen University, Sweden. His research interests are in the areas of cognitive radio networks, cooperative communication, physical layer security for wireless communication, wireless power transfer. Beside doing research in future wireless systems, he is a founder of Academic Gates.
