Trustworthy and Human-Centered Test Automation

Status:

finished

Start date:

2024-07-01

End date:

2025-06-01

Our project seeks to enhance the trustworthiness and effectiveness of test automation by integrating human intelligence and developing advanced analysis and visualization tools for testing. These efforts will help ensure that continuous delivery systems are transparent, reliable, and aligned with the needs of all stakeholders, ultimately supporting the mission-critical nature of the systems being tested.

The project is focusing on:

  • Developing guidelines for assessing trustworthiness in test automation.

  • Developing training for bias awareness in testing and reviews.

  • Developing and evaluating automated test assessment, generation, selection, and prioritization techniques and tools with explainability and interactivity at their core and human-centered test result visualization and analysis techniques.
