I completed my Ph.D. in software engineering from Blekinge Institute of Technology, Sweden in 2011, with a focus on the application of metaheuristic search algorithms for predicting software quality. Afterwards, application of AI techniques to solve software engineering problems remains one of my core interests. Thus, ‘AI for software engineering automation’ describes a large part of my research. In addition, as a trained software engineering researcher, I have general interests in the areas of software testing and quality assurance, prediction and estimation in software engineering, decision-making based on software analytics, software metrics, requirements engineering, software testing education and evidential assessment of software engineering literature.
