Shahriar Hasan is a Doctoral student in the Data Communications group at Mälardalen University, Västerås, Sweden. He received his Joint Master Degree in Internet Technologies and Architecture from Pierre and Marie Curie University, Paris and University of Trento, Italy in 2017. He completed his bachelor in Computer Science and Engineering from Islamic University of Technology (IUT), Dhaka, Bangladesh in 2013. He worked at Samsung R&D Institute Bangladesh Ltd. as Software Engineer and American International University-Bangladesh as Lecturer in the Computer Science Department.
Shahriar's research interest includes wireless vehicular networks, fault tolerance in automated platooning, software-defined networks, network function virtualization, network simulation and modelling.
