Nitin Desai, Doctoral student
I completed bachelors of engineering from Anna University, India in 2007 and worked in retail IT for close to 6 years before pursuing an Erasmus mundus master's degree in ICT from UPC, Spain and KIT, Germany in 2015 on a fully funded scholarship. Thereafter, I worked as a researcher in 5G Wireless at UPC with a Catalan government grant till March 2018. My research interests broadly include wireless networks, real-time systems, and timing analysis of real-time networks.
I am a doctoral candidate at MDH, Sweden since Apr. 2018. My area of research is on safety assurance of Fog computing infrastructures in the context of industrial automation within the FORA Marie Curie project (www.fora-etn.edu). I currently work on Time Sensitive Networking (TSN) standard for safety-critical deterministic networking.
