About me: I am a PhD student in the Networks and Embedded Systems department at Mälardalen University (MDU), working in close collaboration with Ericsson, Cognibotics, and Lund University on a VINNOVA-funded project, AORTA. I did my Masters in Computer Science with specialization in Cloud Computing from NUCES-FAST Islamabad, Pakistan in 2022. My dissertation was titled as "A Formal Approach for the Verification of Authorization Conflicts in Amazon Managed Elastic Kubernetes Service."
Before starting at MDU, I worked as a Lecturer at NUCES-FAST and Riphah International University for almost 7 years, teaching a range of courses including Parallel and Distributed Computing, Operating Systems, Machine Learning, Data Structures and Algorithms, Object-Oriented Programming, Software Engineering and Human-Computer Interaction.
My research focuses on developing a holistic model for Industrial Robots to be able to offload their real time services to Edge/Cloud Continnum in a predictable manner, using 5G technology.
