Zenepe Satka, Doctoral student


About: Zenepe Satka is a doctoral candidate at the School of Innovation, Design and Engineering at Mälardalen University. Zenepe holds a bachelor degree in Electronic Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Tirana, in 2018. She received a Master degree in Computer Science with specialization in Embedded Systems from Mälardalen University and a Master of Science in Electronic Engineering from Polytechnic University of Tirana, in 2020, as she was part of a double degree program Erasmus + ICM. 

Recent activities:

  • Was a visiting researcher at Retis Lab, Scuola Superiore Sant Anna, Pisa 2023
  • Won the Ericsson Research Foundation Grant, May 2023
  • Defended the Licentiate degree titled "End-to-end QoS Mapping and Traffic Forwarding in Converged TSN-5G Networks", April 2023, Västerås, Mälardalen University

Zenepe's research focus is on real-time distributed systems, timing analysis and modeling of software architectures with a special focus on TSN and 5G.
